Waterland employs only National Governing Body qualified people and holds approval both by the Royal Yachting association and the British Canoe Union.
We are also awarded with the Investors In People accreditation, so you can be assured of our employment standards.
As you would expect and as the law requires, we are an activity licensed site (AALA). We provide activities for a variety of groups, some classed as challenging.
We run NGB courses in Sailing, Windsurfing, Power boating and Kayaking/ Canoeing. Other activities on site are Archery, Problem Solving, Bridge Building/Low Ropes, Orienteering and Raft building.
Hours are as required, but Waterland strive to provide a five day working week out of seven with a working week of thirty five to forty hours.
As we are always striving for self development in our employees, you are encouraged in your free time to use the equipment to practice and develop your skills. You may also book onto courses we are running, as space allows. This is for you to choose and work with Jo to programme in during your training appraisal.
